The stars in all their glory
dance in the sky
above us
As my hand trembles
caught in the moment
as I take yours
without a word
I wanna hold you
like a second skin
I wanna drink you
like wine
I wanna sing along
to the chorus
of our beating hearts
watching the leaves drift off
in the wind
I long for the time
where your kiss
will linger upon my lips
and nothing remains
Only we and where we
were always meant to be.
